KOKOSCHKA. Art Postcard Signed, no place, no date.
An Austrian artist who was a leading Expressionist, Oskar Kokoschka
was a painter, poet, and dramatist whose work was often controversial
during his long career. In the years after World War II, he achieved
widespread recognition and renown.
This color postcard, measuring 5¾" x 4¼", reproduces
a 1907 lithographed poster by Kokoschka that is in the collection of
New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
A white border surrounds the reproduction, and the artist has signed,
“O. Kokoschka,” in the lower border.
The postcard is in fine condition. $175.00
