Samuel
Morse, the artist who turned inventor and developed the telegraph and
Morse code, here sends his autograph. “I cheerfully comply
with your request of the 25 instant,” he writes, and signs,
“Saml. F. B. Morse.”
The letter
is in fine condition, with a slight edging around the margins from having
been inlaid. Morse’s writing is dark and clear. $1000.00
