EDDIE
RICKENBACKER. Signed Photograph, no place, 1970.
Eddie Rickenbacker, the American aviator who served in both World Wars,
had a long career in the auto and airline industries, most notably as
head of Eastern Air Lines from 1938 to 1963.
This 9" x 5½", black-and-white photo, taken from one
of his books, depicts a smiling Rickenbacker during World War I, when
he was a member of the U. S. Army Air Corps. He is shown bust-length,
in uniform, wearing his Congressional Medal of Honor on a ribbon around
his neck. Rickenbacker signed the photo in his later years, at the upper
left, in a light area, "Eddie Rickenbacker 1970."
The piece is in very good condition. $250.00
