Harry Truman, the Missouri Democrat who assumed the Presidency in 1945 on the death of Franklin Roosevelt, is shown in this photo with JOSEPH CLARK, a lawyer and Democratic politician from Pennsylvania who served in the U.S. Senate from 1957 to 1969.

The two men are shown half-length, side-by-side, both looking down at a book that Truman is holding and is commenting on. The black-and-white photo measures 7½" x 9½". Truman has signed in a light area at the center, “Best wishes Harry S. Truman,” and Clark has signed in a light area at the left, “Joe Clark.”

The top and bottom margins of the photo appear to have been trimmed a bit, but the piece is otherwise in very good condition. $350.00
