A cordial
letter from former President Martin Van Buren, who had also served as
a U. S. Senator, as Secretary of State, and as Vice President during
his political career. "Mr. Plitt informs me that you are desirous
of obtaining my autograph," Van Buren writes, "&
in compliance with his suggestion I send you this with much pleasure."
He has signed, "M. Van Buren."
The letter
has some very slight offsetting of ink, but is in very good condition
overall, darkly penned. $650.00
